Responsibilities and tasks
•
Create engaging lesson plans tailored to teach Physical Education suitable for the specified age group.
•
Employ diverse instructional methods to foster high-quality learning experiences.
•
Adhere to the standards set forth by all applicable curricula.
•
Offer differentiated instruction catering to the various learning and skill levels of students to enhance their achievement, incorporating activities suitable for a range of fitness levels.
•
Coordinate relevant field trips, competitions, outdoor events, and similar activities.
•
Take a leadership role in the School’s competitive sports program and Extra Curricular Activity (ECA) program, ensuring that activities align with the age group’s needs.
•
Honor and appreciate each student’s social, cultural, and religious backgrounds, modeling mutual respect and tolerance.
•
Participate in managing pastoral care, health, welfare, and behavior for all students, particularly those in your assigned groups.
•
Encourage students to take pride in their surroundings and foster respect and concern for others, contributing to a nurturing school community.
•
Oversee all aspects of classroom management, including the care of equipment, ensuring resources are well-labeled and accessible. Keep PE areas tidy and organized.
•
Work with the Principal and colleagues to create and enhance effective student assessment procedures and maintain tagged portfolios. Keep accurate records of each child's achievements and provide necessary reports.
•
Establish positive relationships with the parents of students under your supervision.
•
Guide, motivate, and oversee classroom helpers in their responsibilities.
•
Act as an ambassador for EtonHouse within the community and beyond.

Qualifications
•
Bachelor’s degree in education with a Diploma in Sports Science; or a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science accompanied by a Teaching certificate.
•
Possess 2 to 5 years of relevant teaching experience, ideally in a school setting.
