Job Description:
As a Math Teacher at International School Al Ahd Charter School, your key responsibility will be to provide engaging and impactful instruction in advanced-level mathematics. You will facilitate student learning by crafting lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards, evaluating student progress, and cultivating a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a related discipline (minimum requirement)
- A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience, ideally with the U.S. curriculum
- Comprehensive understanding of advanced middle school math concepts, including algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus
- Capability to create lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and incorporate differentiated instruction strategies
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology tools to enhance the learning experience
