Summary

At BFIS, we understand that each student arrives with a distinct set of strengths, needs, and challenges. The Whole School Support Coordinator plays a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership to ensure equitable access to learning for all students, enabling them to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. By developing and executing a comprehensive, whole-school Response to Intervention (RTI) model, this position guarantees that student needs are recognized early, consistently monitored, and addressed through evidence-based practices. The role integrates learning support, BML (Bilingual and Multilingual Learners), and school counseling, ensuring that student well-being and voice are at the forefront of decision-making. The Whole School Support Coordinator collaborates closely with the Associate Head of School, Heads of Division, teaching teams, and oversees the Learning Support, BML, and Counseling departments from Nursery through Grade 12. Responsibilities include managing whole-school systems, educating staff and parents, and ensuring compliance with IB access and arrangement standards.
