Key responsibilities of the ESL teacher include:
• Organizing coursework and educational resources.
• Evaluating student progress and generating reports.
• Adhering to relevant protocols for teaching English as a second language.
• Conducting over 20 classroom lessons each week.
• Developing lesson plans using Google Classroom.
• Planning and coordinating multiple events.
• Participating in Lead Teacher departmental meetings.
• Drafting rubrics for the term.
• Managing gradebook tasks.
• Creating, distributing, and grading homework assignments.
• Fulfilling daily duty roles.
• Attending staff meetings.
• Leading various extracurricular activities (ECAs).
• Organizing and overseeing school trips.
• Planning and executing Christmas Shows.
• Assessing student work.
• Covering for absent colleagues.
• Establishing student targets.
• Attending personal target-setting meetings.

Requirements:
- A degree in a language-focused area and an ESL or TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification.
- Basic proficiency in software, preferably Google Suites, for administrative tasks such as updating student records.
- To excel in this role, a patient and resilient demeanor, adaptability, and effective communication skills are essential.
- A strong command of spoken and written Russian is advantageous.
- Flexibility: the teacher may need to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of learners, with timetables subject to ongoing review.
