About This Role
Ruamrudee International School Phuket invites applications for the position of Early Years Teacher to join our Early Years Department. This full-time role is based at Ruamrudee International School Phuket and reports directly to the Head of Early Years.
The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, stimulating, and interactive learning atmosphere that encourages young learners in their developmental journey. The Early Years Teacher will be instrumental in facilitating each child's social, emotional, and cognitive development through effective, age-appropriate teaching methods. Additionally, this position involves strong collaboration with families to ensure the well-being and success of every child.
As an Early Years Teacher, your duties will include:
•
Designing and executing a curriculum that is developmentally suitable and in line with the school’s educational philosophy
•
Delivering captivating lessons that enhance early language, cognitive, motor, and social skills
•
Establishing a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment where children feel secure, supported, and motivated to explore
•
Implementing effective classroom management techniques that encourage positive behavior and social capabilities
•
Conducting ongoing assessments and observations to monitor student progress and development
•
Providing parents with regular updates regarding learning progress, achievements, and areas for improvement
•
Fostering strong home-school partnerships through consistent communication, conferences, and school activities
•
Adapting learning experiences to accommodate individual needs and collaborating with specialists or support staff as needed
•
Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of children by adhering to all school safeguarding and safety protocols
•
Engaging in professional development opportunities and keeping abreast of best practices in early childhood education
Applicants must possess:
•
A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (a Master’s degree is a plus)
•
A recognized teaching certification specializing in early childhood education
•
Demonstrated experience in teaching young children within an early years environment
•
A solid understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood education theories
•
Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
•
Patience, adaptability, and a sincere enthusiasm for working with young children
