Requirements and Experience:

Essential


• Possess a bachelor’s degree relevant to the teaching subject or its equivalent

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification

• Demonstrate strong subject expertise and a genuine passion for the subject that you are eager to share with students

• Experience teaching GCSE and A Level courses

• A minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience, although new teachers with the potential for excellence will also be considered

• Ability to deliver consistently inspiring lessons with a proven track record of achieving outstanding results

• A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills

• Evidence of a commitment to recent professional development pertinent to this position

• Innovative ideas to enhance the department's profile within the school

• Proficient ICT skills that reflect the role of technology in modern classrooms

• Dedication to the extracurricular program

• Commitment to the welfare and pastoral care of all students in their charge

• An innovative, creative, and positive outlook

Desirable


• Experience working abroad or with international students
