Secondary Teacher of Science (August 2026 )
About This Role
Dove Green Private School (DGPS) is proud to be a British community school, providing a unique educational experience in Dubai Investment Park, close to the Expo 2020 venue. Our British educational principles prioritize respect, tolerance, inclusivity, and a dedication to academic excellence, nurturing well-rounded, globally aware individuals. We strive to create an environment that honors the rich traditions of British education while promoting a broader worldview. Our secondary school has recently celebrated outstanding initial iGCSE results and is set to launch its Sixth Form in August 2026. As we transition to our new facility equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, we continue to exemplify educational excellence, embodying the values of a joyful, supportive, and inclusive community school. We offer a progressive, innovative education that transcends traditional boundaries. Being the first UK curriculum school in the region, DGPS has gained recognition for its leadership in educational innovation, while upholding its community-centered ethos and addressing the needs of the rapidly developing southern sector of Dubai.
We seek passionate, compassionate, and insightful educators who can teach, guide, and foster growth in our GCSE, new A-Level, and BTEC courses, becoming integral members of a thriving community school with one of the most rapidly ascending reputations in the area. As a vital part of our newly expanded team, you will ensure that the British ethos infuses every aspect of our educational practices, creating a setting where students thrive academically and cultivate a global perspective in line with the Dubai Education 33 strategy (E33). This strategy aims to deliver a world-class education for every student, meeting the highest international standards while remaining rooted in Emirati values. E33 embraces the rich multiculturalism that characterizes Dubai, ensuring that heritage and diversity are key components of the learning journey.
Candidates should be dedicated to engaging with the local community and developing effective partnerships with parents. The ideal applicant will resonate closely with DGPS's core values and ethos, contributing to a community that merges the best of British education and E33, all while preparing students for success in a fast-evolving world and possessing a genuine appreciation for the region's values. Above all, we are in search of perceptive, motivated, and grounded educators who are committed to nurturing a culture of successful collaboration and progressive learning through our vision of learning together and growing together.
Parent feedback encapsulates our ethos perfectly: "Teachers know my child; they don’t need to look at their laptop to tell me about their progress. That is the most amazing thing. Love the school and the teachers!”
If you seek an opportunity to be part of a high-achieving, joyful, caring, and inclusive school with avenues for personal growth, we would be excited to hear from you. A drive, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude are crucial.
