INTRODUCTION:

SNA Marianapolis International School – Bien Hoa Campus stands as the first fully international educational institution in Bien Hoa city and Dong Nai province, and is the second addition to the SNA International Schools System, operated by Nguyen Hoang Education Cooperation. The school commenced its inaugural academic year in 2021 and currently enrolls over 500 students.

JOB PURPOSE:

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Social Studies Teacher to become a part of our team. The selected individual will ensure that all students receive an exceptional education aligned with the Advanced Placement curriculum.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and execute detailed lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards

•
Inspire students to learn through engaging and interactive activities and discussions

•
Evaluate and document student progress, providing grades and constructive feedback

•
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that promotes learning

•
Communicate with parents regarding student progress and behavior

•
Oversee student conduct in the classroom by applying approved disciplinary measures

•
Attend faculty meetings and engage in professional development opportunities

•
Modify teaching approaches and resources to accommodate diverse student needs

•
Utilize a variety of instructional techniques, including inquiry, group discussions, lectures, and discovery methods, to ensure active student participation in learning

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

•
Demonstrated experience as a Social Studies Teacher or in a related position

•
Current teaching certification

•
Bachelor’s degree in Education with a focus on Social Studies or a related discipline

•
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities

•
Deep understanding of teaching methods and learning preferences

•
Competency in using classroom technology

•
Proven capability to engage students in a creative and impactful manner

Physical Requirements (if any):

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or working on a computer, as well as standing to deliver lessons.

· Ability to navigate the campus, including climbing stairs multiple times daily, and adjusting one’s posture by bending, leaning, or sitting on the floor to connect with students.
