About This Role
KIS International School in Bangkok, a distinguished IB World School offering four programmes, is on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated PYP Music Teacher to become part of our energetic community. This role encompasses supporting student learning from Early Years through to Grade 5.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator who thrives in a collaborative environment, using music to ignite creativity, foster enthusiasm, and deepen understanding. They will partner with our team to create impactful learning experiences that align with the principles of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and cater to the developmental stages of young learners.
Qualifications and Experience:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Music or Education is required; a Master’s degree in education or a related discipline is highly regarded.
• Experience in international or multicultural settings is preferred.
• A solid understanding of the IB PYP framework is essential.
• A strong commitment to collaborative planning, student-centered teaching, and promoting a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere. At KIS, teachers collectively share the responsibility for students' academic success, personal development, and overall well-being.
