Position Overview

The Modern Foreign Languages Teacher (Spanish) will deliver an engaging, research-driven curriculum aimed at fostering language proficiency, cultural awareness, and global citizenship. This role will facilitate immersive, inquiry-based learning experiences, encouraging students to develop their communication skills, critical thinking capabilities, and appreciation for diverse perspectives. Skills

Candidate specifications:

• Possess a BEd or Bachelor’s degree accompanied by PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
• A Master’s degree or a similar qualification is preferred
• Demonstrated experience teaching Spanish at the KS4/KS5 level or equivalent
• Experience teaching an additional foreign language is advantageous
• Display a willingness to collaborate and share best practices
• Exhibit a growth mindset, being reflective and solution-focused
• Approach teaching with creativity and passion
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, students, and parents
• Maintain a proven history of delivering outstanding teaching and learning
