We are excited to announce an opportunity for a graduate beginning in September 2026. We are seeking candidates with diverse interests and specializations to join our dynamic Prep school for the upcoming academic year. If you possess a specific talent or area of expertise (such as Art, Design Technology, Languages, Music, Science, Mathematics, or Drama) that you would like to showcase and explore during your residency, we are eager to hear from you!

This one-year residential position offers essential support to our educators, assists with classroom activities (primarily in KS2), and enriches the school’s boarding experience. This role is also an ideal opportunity for graduates contemplating a career in education to immerse themselves in the vibrant life of our successful school.

Our goal is to provide our Resident Graduate Assistant with a memorable year while engaging with enthusiastic and inspiring pupils within a co-educational setting. The school will provide year-round accommodation and complimentary meals from our onsite dining services during term time. This paid position also includes opportunities for continuing professional development and training.

Nestled in 150 acres of beautiful parkland in rural West Berkshire, Elstree welcomes boys and girls aged 2-13 years. Established in 1848, the school relocated to its current site in 1939 and inaugurated its Pre-Prep school in 1993. Boarding options, both flexi and weekly, are available starting from Year 4.
