Bloom World Academy, situated in the heart of Dubai within a cutting-edge campus, is looking to hire PYP Junior (Primary) classroom teachers for the academic year 2025-26.

Our Story

Bloom World Academy opened its doors in August 2022, providing education for children aged three to 18 years. The school has achieved significant success by challenging traditional norms and innovating for the benefit of students, families, and educators in Dubai.

Every element of learning and teaching at Bloom World Academy has been thoughtfully considered, focusing on how and why we educate, alongside the impact of our methods. This has resulted in several pioneering initiatives for the UAE. BWA is the first school in the country to start at 9am, allows each student and their family to choose their own timetable (learning pathways), and provides every student with a Learning Achievement Passport (LAP) that shares their performance and progress with families multiple times a year.

PYP Junior (Primary) Classroom Teacher - the Position

Bloom World Academy is on the lookout for creative and skilled educators to fill the role of PYP Junior (Primary) classroom teacher in the Primo section of our school (Grades 1-5).

As an IB educator, you should demonstrate a strong commitment to fostering international mindedness in your classroom and support its development throughout the school. A solid understanding of or experience with a student-centered inquiry-based learning approach is essential. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills and a proven history of establishing and nurturing professional relationships, alongside outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

We seek experienced educators who are passionate about helping every child thrive and excel in a learning environment where all students can succeed. You should be capable of teaching students across a spectrum of abilities and have a proven track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.

Having experience with the IB program is highly desirable but not mandatory, as training will be provided. As an educator, you should have the expertise in crafting engaging, challenging, and enriching learning experiences for your students, a strong understanding of assessment and its application in the classroom, and most importantly, a passion for encouraging students to reach their full potential and beyond.

Required Candidate Profile

- Advanced/proficient English language skills
- Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field, along with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
- At least three years of teaching experience in a reputable institution
- A proven record of outstanding student achievements
- Experience in teaching the International Baccalaureate is highly preferred (professional training will be provided)
- Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity
- Intercultural awareness, strong communication skills, and eagerness to engage with students and parents
