Bloom World Academy, situated in the heart of Dubai within a modern campus, is looking to hire a PYP Grade 4 Classroom Teacher for a mid-October 2024 start.

Bloom World Academy opened its doors in August 2022, catering to students aged three to 18 years. The school has quickly gained recognition for its innovative approach to education, setting new standards in Dubai for the benefit of learners, families, and educators alike.

Every facet of the educational experience at Bloom World Academy has been thoughtfully designed—considering how, why, and the impact of our teaching methods. This commitment has led to several pioneering initiatives in the UAE. BWA is the first school in the country to commence classes at 9 am, allowing families to customize their child’s timetable (learning pathways), and providing each student with a Learning Achievement Passport (LAP) to track their progress and performance, shared with families multiple times each year.

Above all, BWA emphasizes family involvement—encouraging parents to be actively engaged in school life, whether by working in our community café, participating in workshops, or attending our weekly community forum celebrations.

Bloom World Academy is in search of innovative and skilled educators for the position of PYP Grade 4 Classroom Teacher.

As an IB educator, you will be expected to show a strong commitment to fostering international mindedness within your classroom and support this initiative throughout the school. Candidates should possess experience or a solid understanding of a student-centered, inquiry-based learning methodology. Additionally, strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish and maintain professional relationships are essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

We seek experienced educators with a fervor for helping every student thrive and develop, creating a classroom atmosphere where all students can excel. You should have the capability to teach students of varying abilities and demonstrate a history of achieving remarkable student outcomes.

Experience with the IB program is highly desirable, though not mandatory, as training will be provided. As a practitioner, you should possess knowledge and experience in designing engaging, stimulating, and challenging learning opportunities for your students, alongside a robust understanding of assessment practices in the classroom. Above all, a genuine passion for encouraging students to reach their full potential is essential.

Required Candidate Profile:
- Advanced/proficient-level English language skills
- Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field, along with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
- A minimum of three years’ teaching experience in a respected institution
- A record of outstanding student achievements
- Experience teaching the International Baccalaureate is strongly preferred (professional training will be provided)
- Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity
- Intercultural awareness, well-honed communication skills, and eagerness to engage with students and their families
