Taaleem is looking for qualified, enthusiastic, and passionate Student Supervisor to join our Dubai Schools Nad Al Sheba campus immediately.

Job Purpose:

The School Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and orderly conduct of students in school hallways, common areas, and during transitions between classes. This role supports the school’s commitment to maintaining a positive and disciplined learning environment.


Key Relationships (Internal and External):

Teachers, Students, Parents, Principal and other members of the School Senior Leadership Team


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise hallways, stairwells, and common areas during school hours and transition periods.

  • Ensure students adhere to school rules and behavioural expectations.

  • Assist in directing students to their classes and maintaining smooth traffic flow.

  • Monitor for any safety hazards or unauthorized activities and report promptly to school administration.

  • Respond to incidents, conflicts, or emergencies in a calm and professional manner.

  • Support teachers and staff in maintaining discipline and order during breaks and lunch periods.

  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and submit reports as required.

  • Act as a positive role model for students, promoting respect and responsibility.

  • Work with and contact parents to ensure clear communication.

  • Support with ensuring student attendance and punctuality to lessons.

  • Support with student reflection time and restorative practice.

  • Support with break and lunch recess duties.

  • Mentor students/groups of students to pro-actively enhance culture for learning.

  • Support with whole school culture for learning strategies and staff PD.

Skills

Education

Minimum High School education

Experience

Experience or aptitude for working with students, previous teaching or teaching assistant experience preferred

Attributes

  • Knowledge of child safety and basic first aid is an advantage.

  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.

Compensation

£35,000 - £55,000 (Tax-Free Equivalent)
