Position Overview:
We are looking for passionate and motivated Middle School Arabic B Teachers to join our committed team starting in August 2025. Key Responsibilities:

- Utilize a diverse range of developmentally appropriate teaching strategies tailored to meet the unique needs and abilities of each student:
- Effectively address the learning requirements of late entrants, ESL learners, students with lower academic performance, and those who are gifted and talented;
- Skillfully employ both verbal and non-verbal communication;
- Clearly articulate learning objectives to students in a logical and sequential manner.
- Demonstrate thorough preparation for classroom instruction:
- Use relevant examples and illustrations to engage ALL students;
- Develop and use suitable materials for instructional purposes;
- Adjust the classroom environment to cater to various learning styles;
- Provide enriching information that enhances the curriculum;
- Utilize diverse instructional resources to improve lessons, teaching, and content in line with DAA standards;
- Present written evidence of preparation upon request.
- Exhibit proficiency and confidence in employing media and technology:
- Effectively integrate computer-based instruction for both personal use and student learning to enhance classroom lessons;
- Pursue ongoing professional development in instructional technology.
- Design and implement strategies that promote student self-discipline, reinforce appropriate behavior, manage disruptive conduct constructively, and efficiently group students to support learning objectives:
- Maintain student focus on learning tasks;
- Be adaptive, flexible, and creative in response to individual student needs;
- Monitor and ensure safe and appropriate student behavior at all times throughout the school.
- Encourage student potential by consistently reviewing their work:
- Provide prompt assessment feedback, written comments, and both group and individual responses on assignments;
- Offer specific evaluative feedback that includes reinforcement and encouragement.
- Inspire students to exceed their previous performance levels.
- Set high expectations that align with each student’s capabilities.
- Promote cultural awareness and understanding.
- Recognize the importance of appropriate humor in the classroom.
- Cultivate and sustain enthusiasm for the love of learning.
- Show genuine concern for students and celebrate their achievements.
- Lead initiatives in curriculum and instructional development:
- Serve as a role model, seize opportunities to learn from others, and stay informed on teaching advancements;
- Foster positive working relationships through active leadership and sharing of ideas, materials, and experiences.
- Build strong rapport with students, staff, parents, and the community:
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student and staff issues;
- Keep parents updated on their children’s progress.
- Maintain comprehensive records of curriculum and yearly plans, teaching resources, and assessment tools relevant to DAA standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate learning across various subjects.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of curriculum and subject matter.
- Maintain excellent attendance.
- Work cooperatively within school policies and implement regulations.
- Recognize the significance of after-school activities and take on related responsibilities.
- Be self-motivated and willingly take on responsibilities.
- Be prepared to invest additional effort and commitment beyond the regular school day as needed.
- Regularly communicate with parents to promote the GEMS philosophy and core values; keep parents informed of students’ progress while ensuring confidentiality of student-related information.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in staff committees as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
