Exciting changes are set to unfold at NORD ANGLIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, HONG KONG, as we gear up to open a state-of-the-art Sixth Form Centre in August 2026, featuring IBDP, A-Levels, and BTEC programs.

We are actively seeking passionate Secondary Teachers for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 who are committed to promoting student-centered learning and making a meaningful contribution to our school community.

The role:

As a qualified Teacher of Mathematics, your duties will encompass:

• Leading initiatives to boost student engagement and enhance school spirit.

• Assisting with extracurricular activities and school events.

• Strengthening communication with parents through effective updates and progress reports.

• Delivering engaging, inclusive, and impactful lessons.

• Fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and design thinking among students.

• Utilizing data-driven approaches to address diverse learning needs.

• Incorporating digital tools to enhance learning experiences.

• Serving as a Form Tutor and contributing to the IB curriculum.

• Designing and implementing lesson plans that align with the curriculum.

• Ensuring comprehensive assessment practices and providing timely feedback.

• Contributing to curriculum innovation and maintaining quality assurance standards.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development.

• Reflecting on teaching practices to improve effectiveness.

• Upholding the school’s values and nurturing a positive school culture.

The Successful Candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor of Education or relevant degree with a PGCE in Mathematics.

• Qualified Teacher Status.

• Experience as a qualified teacher in the UK and/or international environments.

• Mathematics-specific training or a comparable qualification.

• A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.

• Insight into student learning and development in Mathematics education.

• Awareness of current trends and advancements in Mathematics education.

• Evidence of knowledge regarding broader educational progress.

• Experience in raising standards for diverse student groups.

• Skills in planning, delivering, monitoring, and evaluating lessons within the school curriculum.

• Familiarity with the English National Curriculum and relevant subject knowledge.

• Understanding of assessment and reporting requirements.

• Knowledge of IGCSE, A Level, and IB syllabi and their associated examination processes.

• Ability to integrate technology into the classroom to enhance student learning.

• A current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure from all countries of residence.

• Compliance with visa regulations for employment.

• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students, along with a readiness to undergo necessary child protection training.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
