Qualifications:

• A recognized UK teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or another equivalent (PGCE/PGDE must be accompanied by a relevant Bachelor’s Degree).

Successful candidates should have:

• Strong expertise in the subject area and significant experience with the British curriculum.

• A true passion for drama education and a solid understanding of effective teaching strategies.

• A proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences in drama.

• Experience in directing school productions.

• A flexible and innovative teaching style.

• A desire to contribute to the wider school community.

• A belief in every student's potential for excellence, along with the enthusiasm to foster their success.

Desirable attributes:

• Experience working with students for whom English is an Additional Language.

• Ability to effectively integrate technology into teaching practices.

• Experience in an international school setting.

Important notes:

For Greek Applicants - You must have a relevant degree and have completed the teacher registry for private schools (Epetirida) or hold the qualifications to do so. Please be aware that international qualifications do not qualify as recognized teacher status for Greek candidates.

For International Applicants - You must possess a relevant degree from your home country and an appropriate teaching qualification from the same country. UK applicants are required to have QTS and a Department for Education Teacher Reference Number. Please note that the iPGCE is not recognized in Greece, and language qualifications such as TESOL and DELTA are not accepted.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
