We seek a creative and passionate Arts teacher to join our enrichment team, providing CRT across the school, delivering a visual arts programme to neurodiverse learners aged 5 to 21.


Our enrichment team currently provides music, dance, drama and te reo across the school. If you have a flare for art and creativity and enjoy being innovative and flexible, come and join our dynamic team.


We offer generous ongoing professional development, a small class size and high levels of support, and the expertise of our therapy team.


Ideally, you will have special education experience, but first and foremost, you are a great teacher.


You must be eligible to work in NZ and hold a current NZ practicing certificate.

The Role


Creative Arts Teacher - Scale A + SDA


Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver a visual arts programme to neurodiverse learners.

  • Collaborate with the enrichment team to provide music, dance, drama, and te reo.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development.

  • Support students in a small class setting.


Qualifications



  • Must hold a current NZ practicing certificate.

  • Experience in special education is preferred.

  • Passion for teaching and creativity.
