About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our supportive school community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young people and making a positive difference to their learning and development.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring continuity of learning during the short-term absence of teaching staff by supervising classes and delivering pre-prepared lesson activities. Working closely with teachers and school leaders, you will help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where all pupils can thrive.

When not covering lessons, you will support wider school activities, including helping to maintain and supervise the school library, assisting with pastoral care, supporting pupils with additional needs, and contributing to the day-to-day life of the school. You will act as a positive role model, encouraging high standards of behaviour, engagement and achievement.

This role would suit an individual with excellent communication and organisational skills, who enjoys working with children and can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families. Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable, although not essential, as training and ongoing professional development will be provided.

If you are committed to supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional wellbeing and would like to be part of a caring and ambitious school, we would love to hear from you.
