About the Role
As the Bursar, your responsibilities will include:

- Playing a key leadership role at Quinton House School, providing strategic, financial, and operational oversight.
- Ensuring the school operates efficiently, safely, and in harmony with its core values and vision.
- Collaborating closely with the Head and Senior Leadership Team to define long-term strategies and promote ongoing enhancement.
- Overseeing all bursarial functions, including:
- Finance and budgeting
- Payroll
- Estates and facilities
- IT
- Catering
- Administration
- Health and safety
- Regulatory compliance
- Admissions and marketing oversight
- Contract and supplier management

- Cultivating and sustaining strong relationships with parents, colleagues, and external partners.
- Exemplifying professionalism, integrity, and high standards across all non-academic operations.
- Holding line management duties and serving as a Performance Management reviewer for assigned staff.
- Acting as a deputy for the Head and Deputy Heads when necessary.
- Ensuring complete compliance with all non-academic regulatory standards.
- Leading all health and safety initiatives, including coordinating fire and lockdown procedures.
- Demonstrating strategic vision, operational excellence, financial acumen, and calm management of complex processes.
- Central to ensuring the school operates smoothly, safely, and effectively to support the thriving of pupils and staff.
