Curriculum Overview

At Doha British School, we implement the National Curriculum of England, tailored to honor Qatar’s culture, heritage, and values. The school ensures a seamless educational journey from Early Years to Sixth Form, merging academic excellence with strong pastoral support and a focus on personal development.

Our curriculum, across all stages, is crafted to be engaging, enriching, and challenging, integrating academic rigor with leadership, creativity, and global citizenship.

Ideal candidates must possess:


A recognized educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.


A certified teaching qualification like a PGCE or QTS, along with an Early Career Teaching Certificate (the PGCE should be backed by a subject-relevant bachelor’s degree).


Outstanding subject knowledge, with significant experience in teaching the National Curriculum of England.


Experience with International Baccalaureate (IB) and IGCSE, AS/A Level.


A strong history of providing exceptional teaching and learning experiences.


A dedicated approach to enhancing the wider school community through extracurricular involvement.
