Aldar Academies is on the lookout for an exceptional Primary Class Teacher (KS1) to join Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi, starting August 2026.

B. Teaching and learning:
- Capable of delivering all aspects of the Primary English National Curriculum.
- Responsible for organizing the classroom, managing learning resources, and creating displays that promote a positive learning atmosphere while enhancing the Mamoura British Academy's unique selling proposition in this domain.
- Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students in the class.
- Providing targeted support and interventions for students with EAL or other additional learning needs.
- Inspiring pupils through engaging and imaginative lesson presentations.
- Documenting children's work and learning in accordance with the Mamoura British Academy Marking and Feedback policy.
- Reflecting on lesson effectiveness and student progress, adapting planning and curriculum as necessary.
- Collaborating with other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists, when required.
- Contributing to the enhancement of teaching and learning across the school by sharing best practices and engaging in school CPD and T&L initiatives.
- Demonstrating effective use of technology through innovative and creative lesson delivery and continuous provision.
C. Assessment and data:
- Taking ownership of the achievement and progress of a class of students, ensuring they surpass expected standards.
- Meeting the assessment and recording requirements for pupil development utilizing Learning Ladders.
- Providing ongoing feedback to parents and guardians regarding student progress during Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.
D. Behaviour management and duties:
- Adhering to the Mamoura British Academy behavior management policy and promoting the TRACK Values to uphold high expectations.
- Effectively managing classes with approaches suitable for students' needs, inspiring, motivating, and challenging them.
- Cultivating positive relationships with students and parents while following school procedures to address any rare instances of inappropriate behavior.
- Serving as a positive role model by consistently demonstrating the attitudes, values, and behaviors expected of students.
- Ensuring timely and accurate follow-up on any behavior and safeguarding concerns, logging them appropriately on CPOMS.
E. Wider professional responsibilities:
- Collaborating within a curriculum action group to support planning, assessment, resources, and special events linked to that team.
- Assisting in organizing and participating in school events, outings, and activities that may occur on weekends or evenings.
- Contributing positively to the broader life and ethos of the school.
- Leading a weekly ECA each term to enhance the offerings available to our students.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
Minimum Experience:
- Experience teaching the English National Curriculum.

- Proven success in teaching across the age and ability spectrum.
