Position: Senior Leadership

Brookes Moscow, an esteemed international school renowned for its significant global educational impact, is seeking candidates for the position of Programme Coordinator. This senior leadership role involves strategic oversight for the vision, development, and implementation of the school’s all-encompassing program within the Elementary School.

The Programme Coordinator is responsible for leading the development, alignment, and quality assurance of the International Primary Curriculum at the school. This role supports the maintenance of consistent standards, enhances assessment literacy, and ensures vertical progression from Grade 1 to Grade 5, preparing students effectively for transitions to Upper & High School.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the entire process of curriculum design, documentation, mapping, and vertical alignment for Grades 1 to 5.

• Ensure seamless curriculum articulation among Early Years, Lower School, and Middle School to facilitate smooth transitions and consistent expectations.

• Conduct regular classroom observations, offering constructive feedback and coaching to educators.

• Lead moderation processes, assessment audits, and analysis of student work to uphold consistent academic standards.

• Monitor the effective implementation of formative and summative assessment tools.

• Assist teachers in developing differentiated instructional methods to cater to multilingual and diverse learners.

• Create and conduct workshops on curriculum planning, assessment literacy, data-driven instruction, early literacy/numeracy strategies, behavior management, and inclusive teaching practices.

• Mentor new educators, support their onboarding process, and exemplify best practices in teaching and documentation.

• Prepare reports for leadership that highlight strengths, trends, and areas requiring intervention.

• Maintain and regularly update grading policies, reporting standards, assessment frameworks, and academic procedures.

• Act as the academic liaison among teachers, leadership, parents, and students.

• Clarify academic expectations, curriculum pathways, student progress, and school-wide teaching initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Elementary Education, or a related field.

• A Master’s degree in Curriculum Design, Educational Leadership, or a similar discipline is strongly preferred.

• A proven track record in primary education, curriculum leadership, or instructional coaching.

• Experience in international schools or multicultural settings is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with AP curriculum structure and vertical alignment towards AP pathways.

• Strong expertise in curriculum planning, assessment design, data analysis, and early childhood/primary pedagogy.

• Demonstrated capability to mentor teachers, provide professional development, and lead academic initiatives.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and school-wide processes.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting abilities.

• Fluent in English (C1+) with robust communication and presentation skills.

• Awareness of safeguarding, child protection, and wellbeing frameworks.

Compensation

$5,500 - $6,500 per month
