POSITION DETAILS


We are in search of a talented Music Teacher capable of instructing Music up to KS5. Our school boasts abundant practical resources, with high expectations for all students' achievements. Establishing and nurturing positive relationships is crucial to fostering student progress. We adhere to the English National Curriculum leading to IGCSE and IAL, accredited by Cambridge and Pearson examination boards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


A relevant bachelor's degree.


PGCE or PGDE along with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).


Experience teaching KS5 is preferred.


We welcome applications from exceptional Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Expectations at Kuwait English School:

Participate in meetings, performances, and other events as required.


Engage proactively in activities tied to the school's self-evaluation, upholding the school's standards in all aspects, including presence around the school, appraisal, performance, and line management systems.


Collaborate as part of a team, drafting proposals and documents for further refinement by the Leadership Team and supporting their final decisions.


Be punctual for all scheduled meetings.


While all staff are encouraged to voice their opinions, they must respect the majority decision or the final decision made by the Head of School.


Balance the sometimes conflicting needs for transparency and confidentiality, always working cohesively with your colleagues.


Foster a collaborative culture, avoiding divisive attitudes.


Carry out specific tasks reasonably assigned by the School Leadership.
