Wellbeing Lead - Aug 2026

We are seeking a skilled Wellbeing Lead to become part of our dedicated team at GEMS Education in Dubai, with an anticipated start date of August 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the strategic creation and execution of the school’s wellbeing vision, ensuring that a comprehensive, preventative, and inclusive approach to student wellbeing is adopted throughout the institution.
- Manage and coordinate pastoral systems and wellbeing services, collaborating closely with senior leaders, counsellors, Heads of Year, and teaching staff.
- Assess and enhance student wellbeing, safeguarding, behaviour, and attendance, ensuring timely interventions and appropriate escalations as necessary.
- Utilize both qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, inform interventions, and assess the effectiveness of wellbeing initiatives.
- Assist staff in integrating wellbeing practices into teaching, learning, and everyday school activities, including providing training and support.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for students and parents regarding wellbeing matters, offering guidance and reassurance when needed.
- Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to guarantee that students receive the necessary support.
- Participate in the development and evaluation of policies and procedures related to wellbeing, safeguarding, and inclusion.
- Foster a positive, inclusive school environment that enhances emotional resilience, supports student voice, and encourages personal development.
- Work in partnership with the broader leadership team to ensure that wellbeing remains a fundamental strategic focus across the Secondary School.
