Job Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing our Art and Design curriculum, including strengthening our IGCSE Art provision and supporting the growth of A-Level pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching in Art and Design across KS3–KS5, including A-Level Digital Media and Design
Plan and implement a structured IGCSE Art and Design curriculum
Support students in developing creativity, technical skills, and independent portfolios
Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level assessments
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities in Visual Arts
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment aligned with school values
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Education or a relevant bachelor’s degree
Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant role at an international school
Recognised teaching qualification, such as PGCE with QTS or an equivalent licence
Understanding of the Cambridge International Curriculum
Native English speaker or excellent English proficiency both spoken and written
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to Values-based Education and Enquiry Learning
Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Art and Design
Strong understanding of Digital Media tools and creative software
