Teacher of Maths
About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Middle School Math Teacher, preferably someone already based in China. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of the British curriculum and demonstrate outstanding classroom management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that align with the British curriculum.
2. Teach middle school students in mathematics.
3. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
4. Regularly assess and monitor student progress.
5. Serve as the homeroom teacher, providing pastoral care.
6. Support students with varied learning requirements.
7. Maintain open lines of communication with parents.
8. Collaborate with colleagues in the math department.
Requirements:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Education, coupled with a teaching certification (PGCE/PGDE).
2. At least 2 years of teaching experience at the middle school level in international schools.
3. Strong knowledge of the British curriculum.
4. Demonstrated classroom management capabilities.
5. Ability to create a positive learning environment.
6. Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
7. A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and a dedication to professional development.
