STEAM Teacher - Cambridge Curriculum
About This Role
Job duties:
Designing, developing, and delivering quality STEM lesson plans and curriculum that adhere to Cambridge and STEM requirements.
Perform the complete range of teacher duties:
Develop lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum framework.
Deliver lesson plans that accommodate diverse student needs and learning styles; maintain effective classroom control, organization, and management.
Administer academic assessments for the purpose of evaluating and classifying students based on their learning capacity and qualities.
Complete teaching and educational documents such as register notebooks, teaching plans, and worksheets.
Report on assigned tasks as requested by direct line manager, both regularly and as needed.
Collaborate with other school departments to fulfill teaching and educational tasks
Ensure effective utilization of resources, materials, and equipment.
Maintain accurate and professional communication with parents regarding the student's academic progress, upon request.
Engage in continuous learning and self-improvement to enhance professional skills.
Participate in developing school programmes as directed by direct line manager
Plan and present STEM displays and projects designed to showcase students’ work for the school, the community and any external assessing bodies.
Participate in school activities such as events, workshops, meetings, and conferences
Other tasks as assigned by Senior Leadership Team such as event coordination, field trip, and homeroom.
Education requirement:
Minimum Bachelor of Pedagogy Degree with Academic background in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Information Technology.
A recognized teaching qualification for the required age range (e.g. B.Ed., PGCE).
