Curriculum Overview:

Doha British School follows the National Curriculum of England, adapted to reflect Qatar's cultural heritage and values. Our educational path ranges from Early Years to Sixth Form, blending academic excellence with robust pastoral support and a focus on personal development.

The DBS curriculum is designed to be relevant, enriching, and challenging, combining academic rigor with leadership, creativity, and a sense of global citizenship.

Ideal candidates should have:

A recognized educational degree, such as a Bachelor’s in Education or an equivalent qualification.

A valid teaching qualification like a PGCE or QTS, along with an Early Career Teaching Certificate (the PGCE should be supported by a subject-specific bachelor’s degree).

A minimum of two years of teaching experience (international experience is preferred but not essential).

Exceptional subject knowledge, with a solid background in teaching the National Curriculum of England.

A commitment to professional growth and a collaborative teaching style.

A proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning results.

This position is scheduled to commence in September 2026, with staff expected to arrive in the country by mid-August for orientation and induction.
