ORS Specialist Teacher

Part time, Fixed Term:  Hours:  0.5 FTTE (approx 2.5 days per week). Days and/or hours are negotiable.

Start Date: By negotiation; End Date:  11 December 2026

We are seeking a dedicated specialist teacher who is a passionate advocate for inclusive education to work with students who are funded through the Ongoing Resourcing Scheme (ORS).  

This vital role focuses on providing specialised educational support for students with high learning needs.   You will be part of a fantastic learning support team.  

The successful candidate will:

• Work with our ORS funded students for approximately 2.5 days per week (12 hours).
• Contribute to the development and preparation of teaching resources
• Collaborate with teachers, whānau, and other support staff to ensure the wellbeing and success of our students.

This role could suit someone who is:

• a qualified teacher with interest in working with neurodivergent students;
• someone interested in training to be a teacher;
• or someone with experience working with ORS students in a teacher aide role.
