About This Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated MYP Individuals and Societies and Business Management/Economics Teacher to join our Social Sciences department at the high/secondary school level.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in Individuals and Societies as well as Business Management or Economics within the IB MYP framework. This role involves planning, teaching, assessing student progress, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to the overall development of students’ critical thinking skills in social sciences.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business Management, Economics or related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at secondary/high school level
- Familiarity with the IB Middle Years Programme curriculum standards
- Strong knowledge of Individuals and Societies subjects along with Business Management or Economics concepts
- Ability to design inquiry-based lessons that promote critical thinking
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
- Competence in using educational technology tools to enhance learning
