Music Teacher
About This Role
This is the opportunity to join the Music Department in a rapidly expanding school in Hanoi, Vietnam. We are seeking a teacher of Music with a good honors degree and teaching qualification in the subject specialism. The successful candidate will be expected to inspire students in the performing arts through exploration, critical analysis, and performance-based experiences. This role focuses on developing students’ appreciation of performing arts, fostering creativity, collaboration, and self-expression, and preparing them for IBDP/IGCSE assessments.
The ideal candidate will encourage students to explore various artistic traditions, forms, and techniques while cultivating their individual talents. We expect the successful candidate to have a successful record of achievement and performance and be a strategic thinker able to develop a strong vision, devise strategic plans and show impact.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with students, parents and colleagues. We welcome applications from experienced teachers, including teachers for whom this would be their first overseas post. This role will involve contact with children.
