Music Teacher – Early Childhood & Primary (August 2026)
About This Role
We are seeking an outstanding and passionate Music Teacher for Early Childhood and Primary who can inspire a love of music in our youngest learners through engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate experiences.
The successful candidate will deliver a progressive music program that develops confidence, creativity, performance skills, and communication, while ensuring every child can participate and succeed.
This is a highly visible role that contributes to assemblies, performances, productions, and the wider life of the school.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver an engaging and sequential music curriculum across Early Childhood and Lower Primary
Use play-based and inquiry-led approaches to support young learners
Prepare students for performances, celebrations, and school events
Differentiate to support all learners, including EAL and students with additional needs
Work collaboratively with homeroom teachers to create cross-curricular connections
Contribute to enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities
Build strong partnerships with parents and the wider school community

Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Primary-trained teaching qualification recognized by Qatar MoEHE
Minimum 3 years of successful Primary teaching experience
Strong understanding of effective pedagogy and international best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and international-mindedness
