Midday Welfare
About This Role
We are seeking a caring and reliable Midday Welfare Supervisor to join our happy and inclusive school family. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to support their wellbeing during the busy lunchtime period.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise children to and from the school dining room.
Supervise children before, during and after he meal, including supervising of children to deposit leftover food.
Ensure that any debris left by children with packed lunches is removed/cleaned.
Assist children with their table manners and use of cutlery, including assisting with cutting of meat (etc.) for younger children
Ensure dining room equipment is hygienically maintained Set up and clear away dining room equipment e.g. tables and chairs
Take prompt and effective action to deal with hazards in accordance with local procedures Promote the safeguarding and wellbeing of children
Attend meetings as required, including participating in training
Contribute to the overall ethos of the school
Ad hoc duties as required
To comply with both the school’s and LDST policies and procedures.
