Librarian (Research Specialist)

Astra Academy International School, located in Thailand, is a leading educational institution committed to providing high-quality international education. We are currently seeking a dedicated Librarian and Research Centre Specialist to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the development of a dynamic library and research environment that supports reading, inquiry and independent learning across the whole school.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, Education or a related field

• Experience working in a school library or educational research environment

• Strong understanding of research skills, information literacy and inquiry-based learning

• Ability to support students in locating, evaluating and using information effectively

• Experience promoting reading and literacy development across a range of age groups

• Ability to collaborate with teachers to support curriculum programmes and Project Based Learning

• Strong organisational and library management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience in an international school environment is desirable
