The British International School, Phuket, is a prominent international day and boarding institution (ages 2 to 18) that provides exceptional education to the international community in the Asia/Pacific region.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Teacher, ideally with some background in Occupational Therapy (OT), to become part of our committed team. Your experience should ideally encompass working with individuals to enhance their physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities.
In this essential role, you will support students with additional needs, assisting them in overcoming challenges related to learning, sensory processing, and physical development. This position integrates teaching and therapeutic strategies to develop personalized support plans that empower students to succeed both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with the Learning Support Team, teachers, and families to assist students with additional needs.
+ Conduct assessments and implement customized interventions and strategies to improve student learning.
+ Develop and review Learning Support Plans in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
+ Provide training and resources for teachers and parents to promote inclusive practices.
+ Monitor the effectiveness of strategies and make adjustments as necessary to enhance student outcomes.
+ Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with best practices.
