Kindergarten Lead Teacher (Female)

Create a warm, language-rich early years environment that balances inquiry, play, and foundational skills. Nurture the whole child through relationships, routines, and purposeful provocations aligned with the PYP Early Years framework.

Key Responsibilities

Design play-based, inquiry-rich learning with intentional literacy and numeracy foundations.

Use observation, documentation, and continuous provision to scaffold next steps.

Partner with families; communicate progress and strategies for learning at home.

Collaborate with assistants/specialists to support inclusion and student wellbeing.

Contribute to PYP planning, moderation, and early years continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/Primary Education (or PGCE/teaching license).

Preferred: IB PYP Early Years experience/training; international school experience.

Demonstrated expertise in play-based pedagogy and early literacy/numeracy development.

Strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
