Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that ignite curiosity, foster critical thinking, and instill a passion for learning.
• Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that recognizes individual strengths and accommodates various learning styles.
• Adapt teaching strategies to address the diverse needs of all students, including those with EAL, gifted learners, and students needing additional support.
• Utilize technology and innovative methods to enrich student learning and engagement.
• Monitor, document, and communicate student progress effectively, leveraging data to inform instruction and personalized support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create and enhance curriculum plans, resources, and assessments aligned with the IB framework.
• Contribute to the wider school community through participation in co-curricular activities, events, and community initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with parents and the broader school community to foster student development and well-being.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and self-reflection to continually improve teaching practices.
• Embody the GEMS values and the IB Learner Profile in all facets of school life.
