About St. George’s School
For 40 years, St. George’s has been serving the international community in Germany, across the Cologne, Düsseldorf Rhein-Ruhr and Munich regions. Our school group has grown from small beginnings into a thriving network of over 2000 students, aged 2 to 18, representing a broad range of nationalities.
We offer a dynamic and enriching curriculum based on the National Curriculum for England, leading up to the IB Diploma Programme in the Sixth Form. As a school, we are committed to academic excellence, holistic student development and a strong sense of community.
The Role
We are looking to build a talent bank of outstanding German teachers who are eager to contribute to our vibrant and expanding German Departments.
The ideal candidate will be:
A passionate and dynamic teacher, dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential.
Experienced in teaching German to a diverse range of learners, whether first-language or foreign-language students.
Fluent in both German and English.
Committed to collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
Willing to contribute to the pastoral and extra-curricular life of the school.

All applicants should hold a valid teaching qualification. We consider a degree in education (e.g. B.Ed./M.Ed./Lehramt), or postgraduate teaching certificate (e.g. PGCE) as valid. English language teaching certificates (e.g. TEFL/IELTS/CELTA) are not sufficient.
