About This Role
What do you need to be successful as an GCSE English and Foundation Teacher at Activate Learning?
We are looking for people who can act as role models for our students and ensure that they leave us with not just their professional qualifications, but the attributes required to progress in the world of work. A genuine interest in working with and developing young people is a requirement.
Previous teaching experience in the FE sector would be an advantage, but it is not a requirement. As long as you have the qualifications or experience to teach on our courses and demonstrate the attributes to be an inspirational teacher, we can provide you with the necessary training, development and support to equip you to teach in the FE sector.
For this role you will need the following:
- A teaching qualification is desirable, but not required
- You must have experience working with young people, though this could be in any coaching/mentoring/training context
- Experience in sport or public services would be highly desirable.
