Founded in 2005, Gulf British Academy is a flourishing British International School with BSO accreditation. Currently, we serve students from Pre-KG to Year 11, with plans to develop into a comprehensive 3-18 school over the coming years. We are looking for UK qualified, proactive, and experienced Reception teachers to join our committed EYFS team. Ideal candidates will be fluent English-speaking graduates who possess a UK Department for Education teacher reference number or are in their final year of training.

What you will bring:
You will be a dynamic and flexible KS2 teacher capable of engaging, inspiring, and challenging our pupils through the planning, preparation, and delivery of outstanding lessons. We seek a teacher with a growth mindset who reflects on their practice to foster confidence and independence in our students, encouraging them to become inquiry-based learners.
Essential requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status: A degree-level teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or Bachelor’s in Education).
- Recent and successful Reception teaching experience or training in a UK or international BSO-accredited institution.
- Competence in delivering the national curriculum or a similar educational framework.
- Ability to assess and plan effectively to meet the diverse needs of all pupils in both the short and long term.
- Skillful utilization of all available resources, including support staff, to ensure an enriched educational experience for children in your care.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to promote positive behavior and cultivate good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Capability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- A clear enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and/or police verification.
- Proficiency in using in-class digital technology to enhance learning and development within the classroom.
- Commitment to contributing significantly to our broader curriculum, including the development of extra-curricular activities.
- High level of IT skills and experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Zoom, Gmail, shared drives, etc., along with utilizing IT tools for recording observations and assessments.
