Education Facilitator - Kirikiriroa/Hamilton or Tauranga
Garden to Table Trust empowers tamariki to grow, harvest, prepare and share fresh, seasonal kai as part of everyday learning. We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join our national Education Team as an Education Facilitator, based in Kirikiriroa/Hamilton or Tauranga.
This role is central to the success and growth of our programme. You will work directly with schools and early learning centres, both online and in-person, building confidence and capability to implement and sustain high-impact Garden to Table programmes. Through tailored onboarding, professional learning, coaching and responsive support, you will help embed Garden to Table into curriculum learning and school culture.
Working collaboratively within a national team, you will build strong relationships with principals, programme champions and school teams, contribute to communities of practice, represent Garden to Table in regional education networks, and support programme promotion, projects, resource development and strategic sector engagement. You will also monitor, evaluate and report on school progress and programme impact.
This is a part-time (22 hours per week, 52 weeks per year) work-from-home role with regional travel. Core collaboration hours are Monday and Tuesday, 9.00am–3.00pm, with flexibility required, including occasional after-school and evening commitments.
We are looking for a warm, engaging and solutions-focused educator with strong facilitation skills, confidence using digital tools, and the ability to manage multiple schools and priorities. A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, willingness to grow your te reo Māori, and a full driver’s licence are essential.
