Job Description:
As the Head of Department for Social Sciences, you will lead and manage the Economics teaching team while delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge A Level curriculum. You will be responsible for curriculum development, staff mentoring, student assessment, and fostering a positive learning environment that promotes academic excellence.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 5 years of teaching experience in secondary/high school settings
- Proven expertise in teaching Cambridge A Level Economics curriculum
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing or coordinating teams preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop innovative lesson plans that engage diverse learners
- Competence in using educational technology tools for instruction and assessment
