This is the first All About Children centre established in New Plymouth and is now proudly part of Kids' World Education Group (KWEG). We are seeking an exceptional, heart-centred kaiako to join our babies room as a qualified and registered ECE teacher. This is a special opportunity for someone who is deeply passionate about baby care and learning, and who values strong relationships, reflective practice, and bicultural commitment.
Kids’ World Education Group is an Accredited Employer and can support visa requirements for the right candidate already in New Zealand. Relocation assistance may also be available for the successful applicant.
About you You are a nurturing, calm, and intentional kaiako who: • Is genuinely passionate about working with babies, providing responsive and respectful care • Treats tamariki with empathy, confidence, and clarity • Builds strong, trusting relationships with tamariki, whanau, and colleagues • Is reflective and open-minded, continually adding to your basket of professional knowledge • Is well organised and confident with planning, assessment, and documentation • Is culturally responsive and affirms the identities, languages, and cultures of all tamariki • Is resilient and adaptable, approaching challenges as opportunities for growth • Is committed to bicultural practice and fupholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi in everyday teaching • Can confidently support daily centre operations and team responsibilities
What you’ll need • A recognised ECE qualification and a full, current NZ Teacher Practising Certificate • Valid working rights in NZ (those seeking accredited employment – can also apply)
