Job Requirements
Support student recruitment through promotional materials, information sessions, and guidance for prospective families.
Communicate IB regulations, internal deadlines, and curriculum updates to teachers; oversee delivery of TOK, CAS, and the Extended Essay.
Guide students with subject choices, academic honesty, deadlines, wellbeing, and university applications.
Support CAS and Extended Essay coordinators with programme design, supervision, record keeping, and deadline management.
Work closely with parents to explain DP expectations, support needs, and programme requirements.
Liaise with IB offices, external organizations, and universities as needed.
Organize and manage mock and final examinations, including scheduling, invigilation, security, and submission of materials.
Manage post-exam processes, including result distribution, counselling, and retake registrations.
Support long-term DP development, maintain records, manage budgets, and ensure alignment with IB standards.
Lead curriculum planning, policy development, teacher training, and accreditation processes.
Promote effective communication across the school, including DP information sessions and updates.
Model IB learner profile attributes and support inquiry-based, differentiated, and assessment-driven teaching.
Ensure consistent implementation of DP standards through classroom visits, collaborative planning, and monitoring of assessment practices.
Maintain evidence of programme implementation and ensure ongoing compliance with IB requirements.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Degree with PGCE/PGDE or QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification) in the relevant subject area
A minimum of 2 years teaching experience (preferred)
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
Experience teaching the IB is desirable but not essential
