RAK Academy - Al Hamra

Located in the south of Ras Al Khaimah in the Al Hamra community. RAK Academy – Al Hamra is a growing primary and lower secondary school delivering an adapted UK National Curriculum from Pre-K to Grade 8 alongside the UAE MOE subjects. Grades 6 to 8 form our brand-new secondary school, opening its doors for the first time in August 2026. We are accredited by the British Schools Overseas (BSO), benchmarked against leading international British schools and are able to fully deliver the ECT induction to teachers.

The Role 

We are seeking a dynamic and committed Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) to join us the RAK Academy Khuzam School. This key role will be the first point of call for visitors to the school, parents, staff and children. As the ‘face’ of the school, the CLO will be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner. The role demands high levels of organization, and the ability to multi-task, work flexibly and have a ‘can do’ approach to work, as the role involves managing administrative tasks while ensuring a strong focus on customer service and interface as a priority. Collaboration with marketing, sales, admissions and administration teams is vital and the ability to communicate positively with a range of stakeholders is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities

  • To be the first point of contact for visitors to the school, extending a warm welcome to callers– including parents, visitors, contractors and delivery staff.

  • To provide strong support for customers (parents) in finding solutions and actively supporting the sales and enrolment team to support the growth of the school through enrolments success.

  • To effectively manage all communication including phone, in-person, online and email ensuring timely and efficient completion of all required actions in relation to customer requests and requirements.

  • Follow safeguarding procedures by issuing passes and lanyards to visitors, ensuring that visitors are signed into the school and checking relevant information for visitors.

  • To ensure that the reception area remains presentable and attractive, and that literature and forms are updated and replenished as necessary.

  • To support parents to actively provide feedback, ensuring high levels of service at all times and solving issues and concerns to positive resolutions, seeking line manager support as required.

  • Collate registers and check absences, providing timely contact with parents of absent students.

  • Supporting the administrative functioning of the school by working closely with administration assistants, sales/enrolment and marketing team members.

  • Work actively to support school tours and marketing opportunities, with a strong focus on supporting school growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Be aware of and comply with all Academy and School policies and procedures particularly relating to child protection, equal opportunities, health and safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person, always adhering to relevant codes of conduct.

  • Set high expectations of conduct, whilst acting as a good role model for others.

Compensation

£35,000 - £55,000 (Tax-Free Equivalent)
