CP Coordinator - Aug 2026

We are seeking a skilled CP Coordinator to become a part of our dedicated team at GEMS Education in Dubai, with the position commencing in August 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide both strategic and operational leadership for the IB Career-related Programme (CP), ensuring it aligns seamlessly with IB standards, practices, and philosophy.
• Oversee the planning, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the CP curriculum, which includes core elements such as Personal and Professional Skills (PPS), the Reflective Project, Language Development, and Service Learning.
• Collaborate closely with Heads of Department and subject teachers to guarantee the effective integration of CP pathways within the broader Secondary curriculum.
• Lead initiatives on student progress, assessment, and reporting within the CP, ensuring robust tracking, support, and necessary interventions.
• Manage IB compliance, documentation, and program evaluation, including preparations for IB verification, evaluation, and authorization processes.
• Support and develop CP teaching staff through professional learning opportunities, guidance, and quality assurance measures.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for students and parents, offering advice on CP pathways, post-16 options, and progression routes.
• Establish and nurture external partnerships related to CP pathways, including vocational providers, universities, and industry collaborators.
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives, engage in Secondary leadership discussions, and participate in cross-programme collaboration as appropriate.
• Advocate for the CP as a high-quality, aspirational pathway, fostering student engagement, retention, and progression.
