Classroom teacher / Grade leader

We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic and highly motivated Classroom teacher to join our dynamic primary team.

We are looking for teachers who are passionate about accelerating student progress, maximising learning time, and delivering consistently high-quality teaching that enables every child to thrive.

Position Details

• Role: Classroom Teacher with extra responsibilities as grade level leader

• Phase: Primary School

• Curriculum: IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), with English National Curriculum objectives embedded throughout the school

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners

• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

• Use assessment effectively to drive progress and raise attainment in core subjects

• Lead grade-level planning and coordination to ensure consistent curriculum delivery, assessment practices, and alignment with school expectations.

• Support and guide grade-level teachers through mentoring, collaboration, and monitoring of student progress to raise standards and promote best practice.

• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development in line with IB PYP principles

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning
  
  

  Qualifications:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field

• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the elementary/primary level

• Minimum of 2years teaching experience as grade leader

• Strong classroom management skills

• Proven ability to accelerate student progress

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

• Experience of the IB Primary Years Programme

• Experience of the English National Curriculum
