Position Details
Role: Classroom Teacher with extra responsibilities as grade level leader
Phase: Primary School
Curriculum: IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), with English National Curriculum objectives embedded throughout the school
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment Use assessment effectively to drive progress and raise attainment in core subjects Lead grade-level planning and coordination to ensure consistent curriculum delivery, assessment practices, and alignment with school expectations. Support and guide grade-level teachers through mentoring, collaboration, and monitoring of student progress to raise standards and promote best practice. Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development in line with IB PYP principles Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the elementary/primary level Minimum of 2years teaching experience as grade leader Strong classroom management skills Proven ability to accelerate student progress Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience of the IB Primary Years Programme Experience of the English National Curriculum Commitment to student-centred learning High standards and a strong focus on maximising learning opportunities Enthusiasm for professional growth and continuous improvement Respect for cultural diversity and inclusion Collaborative, positive, and reflective approach to teaching · A competitive remuneration package inclusive of housing and ticket allowances, in addition to the following benefits: .
