DP Business/TOK Female Teacher
Essential Duties:
Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning that reflects the IBO requirements.
Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.
Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom.
Collaborate with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetings.
Contribute positively to the school climate and be a positive representative of the school in the community.
Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events.
Observe and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.
Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.
Contribute positively and effectively to school wide professional development activities.
Be able to respond positively to constructive criticism.
Implement school policies and procedures and enforce school rules in a consistent manner.
Take all necessary and reasonable precautions and actions related to student safety.
Be prepared to work beyond the school day, when required, for the benefit of our students and their learning.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain an open, honest relationship with their principal.
Patience when dealing with students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
