About This Role
Institut auf dem Rosenberg invites applications from dynamic and dedicated boarding professionals to join its residential team as Boarding House Tutors (Artisans). The successful candidate will support the pastoral life of the school and help maintain a structured and supportive boarding environment for our international student community.
Residential life is central to the Rosenberg educational experience, cultivating independence, responsibility and personal resilience.
The ability to lead or support sports, outdoor activities or co-curricular programmes would be advantageous. Candidates with the ability to contribute to sports, outdoor education, creative disciplines or specialist activities are particularly encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
a relevant teaching, pastoral or youth work qualification (or equivalent experience)
relevant experience working with young people in a boarding, educational or residential environment
experience providing pastoral care and student wellbeing support
the ability to contribute to sports, activities or co-curricular programmes
a clean driving licence and willingness to undertake driving duties
a strong commitment to the values and ethos of Institut auf dem Rosenberg
We are particularly looking for:
Demonstrate a genuine commitment to student wellbeing and pastoral care within an international boarding environment.
Have experience supporting students across mixed age groups, promoting independence, responsibility and personal growth.
Are capable of providing academic supervision and structured study support.
Are organised, dependable and able to maintain high standards of care and supervision.
Actively contribute to the school’s Talent & Enrichment programme and wider boarding life.
Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a residential team while taking initiative when required.
Tasks & Competences:
Support the pastoral care and wellbeing of boarding students within the residential community.
Help maintain a structured, supportive and respectful boarding environment that promotes student independence and personal development.
Provide academic supervision and structured study support during evening study periods.
Contribute to the organisation and delivery of sports, recreational and co-curricular activities.
Support the daily rhythm and routines of the boarding house, ensuring high standards of care and attention to student wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with boarding leadership, academic staff and pastoral teams to support student development.
Undertake driving duties and supervision of student transport where required.
